Again and again, we experience that creators of the culture, art and club scene leave Dresden. They move to other cities in order to realize their potential, to develop further, or to help shape the milieu. They can find offered spaces, support and networks that they may not find here.
These actors are missing here - they are missing to establish Dresden as a cultural living space and to let the city not only be a place to reside. The more who leave, the fewer will stay in the future.
Because the possibilities for development beyond the institutional cultural landscape of Dresden are not enough - this is where the idea for Fragmented was born: The desire to strengthen existing subcultural structures as a young interdisciplinary platform, to network them and to open the space for something new.
Fragmented: seeks solutions - is a solution itself. We stand for the idea of a free and equal society. Our projects should be a voice for political issues. Our rooms offer space for conversations. Our records are carriers for music. Our frames the place for art.
